In addition to the top ten ranking, Meagan Swart, a former public defender has joined the Phoenix white collar criminal defense team. Swart is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Products & General Liability, Insurance, and Government Regulatory & Administrative Law, practice groups in addition to the White Collar Criminal Defense practice group.
She is an experienced courtroom attorney having made hundreds of court appearances. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Swart practiced indigent criminal defense. She advocated for her clients both inside and outside the courtroom by successfully negotiating plea agreements with opposing counsel and representing her clients in preliminary hearings.
