Conference Summary: DRI's annual Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium is a two day program taking place November 18-19 at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in New York City. The program will feature distinguished regulators, practitioners and insurance industry leaders providing valuable insight into national trends, recent court decisions, and creative practice tips to assure that attendees remain on the cutting-edge for first- and third-party coverage. The conference has been approved for 12 MCLE credits in California and accreditation is pending for all other states.
Gordon & Rees's Involvement: San Francisco Insurance Group partner Matthew Foy is Vice Chair of the Symposium and a member of DRI's Steering Committee. Elizabeth Lorell, a partner in Gordon & Rees's Florham Park, New Jersey office, will be presenting a topic entitled "Autumn Winds: Insurance Coverage in a Virtual World." Her presentation will focus on an analysis of Coverage B in the Internet age, including a review of actual cases and some well known and not-so-well known rules.
