Patricia Lee-Gulley, a partner in the Orange County office, was a featured speaker at two recent Orange County events.
On November 4, Patricia was one of two speakers for a Continuing Legal Education program presented by the Office of Alumni Relations at Western State University College of Law. She spoke on "Understanding Cross Cultural Relations to Counter Implicit Bias," offering an analysis of how stereotyping impacts the legal work environment, the courts, and ultimately the fair administration of justice.
On November 10, Patricia was on a panel of speakers for an Orange County Asian American Bar Association program which addressed "Ethics vs. Zealous Advocacy at Mediation." The speakers each drew from their unique experiences and perspectives to discuss practical solutions and strategies that often arise in cross-cultural situations.
