Phil Maltin will be the feature speaker on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at an employment seminar hosted by The San Francisco Employer Advisory Council in partnership with the Employment Development Department. Phil's topic will be Leadership, Law and Liars: HR Self Defense.
Geared to business owners, employee benefits, human resource, and office managers, and personnel staff, his program will address how individuals and businesses can immunize themselves from liability. The key issues will include:
- Legal fundamentals of human resources law that every employer should know by heart, but few do.
- Advanced leadership basics that even the most experienced managers may not have learned.
- Interviewing, investigating and simply communicating, and how to read people and identify deceptive behavior.
