On April 8, 2011, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA) of Colorado held its annual banquet. Gordon & Rees co-sponsored the event, continuing the firm's high profile in the local bar community as an annual supporter of this important event. APABA of Colorado provides support for Asian American attorneys, judges, law students, and the general Asian community in Colorado. The banquet, which is the organization’s largest fundraising effort, celebrates its and its members’ accomplishments over the past year and encourages ongoing efforts to assist and serve Colorado’s legal and Asian communities. Several dignitaries, including Colorado Supreme Court justices, were in attendance.
Gordon & Rees is proud to have several attorneys who are active members of APABA of Colorado. Partner and Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee, Franz Hardy, is president-elect and currently serves on the board of directors. Of Counsel Byeongsook Seo is a past president and Associate Lance Ream currently serves on the board of directors.
