The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual State of the Hispanic Community Event at the Sacramento State University Alumni Center on April 27. The event will focus on the latest census data indicating significant growth of the Hispanic community in the Sacramento region. Gordon & Rees Sacramento office Partner Lawrence Garcia will be the moderator of a panel discussing the impact this demographic shift will have on the region's healthcare infrastructure.
The keynote presentation will be provided by Dr. Sanjay Varshney, Dean of the Business School at California State University, Sacramento. Dr. Varshney will explain the immediate importance that the growing Hispanic population has on the planning scenarios of governments and businesses.
