The 50th Annual Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) Conference will take place March 10-11 in Los Angeles, California. San Francisco Associate Marie Trimble will be participating as a panelist on the topic of "The Future of Discovery: Ethically Mining the Web for Evidentiary Gold." The presentation will address how investigating the web, particularly social networking websites, should be on an attorney's checklist for analyzing each case.
The conference also features panel discussions led by attorneys, judges and other legal experts on a broad range of topics including advanced mediation strategies and techniques, reservation of rights and independent counsel issues, Medicare set-asides, financial fraud, and case law highlights of 2010. Tani Cantil-Sakauye, Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court, will serve as the Luncheon Speaker for the event.
