San Diego Environmental group partner Kristin Reyna will be a speaker at the upcoming 41st Annual American Bar Association Environmental Law Conference at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 22-24, 2012. The conference gathers a national audience of leading environmental officials, lawyers, professionals, and academics.
On March 23, Ms. Reyna will be speaking on a panel on the topic of "Identifying and Negotiating Cost Allocation Among PRPs: History, Science and Money," providing a litigation perspective on the importance of where historical chemical handling and disposal practices and scientific knowledge meet in the context of CERCLA actions. The panel will be moderated by Gerry Caron, in house counsel for Cabot Corporation. Other panelists include Kenneth Patterson, the Acting Deputy Office Director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Site Remediation Enforcement and Stephen Swisdak, Deputy Director of Litigation Research of History Associates, Inc.
