The Phoenix office of Gordon & Rees, partnering with Westech Recyclers and Shred-It, is sponsoring "Phoenix Recycles Day." The event, with drop off locations around the metropolitan Phoenix area, will be held on March 30 and 31, 2012. Individuals may bring old electronics - essentially anything with a plug - to be recycled and kept out of valley landfills. Shred-It will provide on-site document destruction/shredding services. The first two boxes are free with a suggested $5.00 donation per bag/box thereafter. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to St. Mary's Food Bank, a non-profit organization. This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of electronics and documents which contain personal and confidential information.
