Tom Tobin, a partner in the San Diego and Los Angeles offices of Gordon & Rees, will be speaking at the national "New Industrial Toxins Litigation" conference sponsored by the publisher Harris-Martin Publishing Company. The conference will address litigation arising from disease alleged to be caused by Acrylamide, Bromopropane, Chlorinated Compounds, Diacetyl, Ethylene Oxide, Formaldehyde, Gasoline/Diesel Exhaust, Hydroquinone, and others. It will take place at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, California on December 3rd and 4th 2012.
Tom will co-chair a panel discussion addressing the state of diacetyl litigation and will also likely present on issues pertaining to chemical exposure litigation involving agricultural chemicals. Other topics that will be discussed include Hydro-Fracking, Pulmonary Toxicity of Carbon Nanotubes, and Refractory Ceramic Fibers and Cancers.
