On Sept. 4, Gordon & Rees partner Gordon Endow will speak at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Issues Forum on the topic “Cyber Security: Protecting Your Data and Staying Legal.”
Endow will lead a discussion from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., touching on the leading legal issues facing today’s market – data security, e-commerce and privacy, cloud computing, and social media concerns. He will also discuss special problems that can arise out of the use of mobile devices internally and externally, such as GPS tracking, bring your own device (BYOD), privacy policies, and safeguards for children. Endow will provide information and tools to better understand the necessary steps to keep businesses, business partners, and customers safe.
Endow is a member of Gordon & Rees’s Intellectual Property, Business Transactions, Privacy, and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on industries in the high-technology sector (including software, hardware, IT, telecom, and biotech) and in the cloud.
