On June 4, Gordon & Rees Washington, D.C., partner Angela Hart-Edwards will speak at the U.S. Fleet Forces Command Diversity Leadership Summit on the topic “Agency Sanctions.” The presentation, scheduled from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., will take place at Naval Base Norfolk in Virginia.
The purpose of the leadership summit is to secure a commitment from senior leadership, managers and supervisors that will result in the development of plans to strengthen diversity initiatives and strategies. Panelists will highlight the necessity for continued support and awareness of diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the Department of Defense and the private sector.
Hart-Edwards is a trial attorney with more than 20 years of experience. She focuses her practice on employment and civil rights law, government investigations and corporate compliance, and federal sector EEO employment law. She has tried 57 cases to verdict and obtained favorable outcomes in more than 40 cases.
