Gordon & Rees San Francisco senior counsel Marie Trimble Holvick will present at the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada’s 55th Annual Meeting, to be held Dec. 4-5 at the Westin St. Francis, San Francisco.
Holvick will participate in a panel discussion on the topic “Recent Developments in the Law on Social Media: How Employers Can Avoid the Traps of Evolving Regulations,” on Dec. 4 from 10:45 a.m.-12 p.m. She will discuss national trends in the law on social media, as well as ethics decisions from across the country with fellow panelists John Scalia, partner at Littler Mendelson, and Joseph Frankl, Regional Director at the National Labor Relations Board.
Holvick’s experience includes assisting with employment matters involving allegations of age, gender, and race discrimination; sexual harassment; wrongful termination; whistleblower claims; violations of the FMLA, FEHA, and ADA; and wage-and-hour violations. Her employment law work involves clients from a wide range of industries, including restaurants, wineries, hotels, health care, manufacturing, professional societies, and insurance.
