On Nov. 19, Gordon & Rees will launch its National Professional Liability Webinar Series – bimonthly events that focus on current and emerging issues for professionals seeking to avoid or mitigate malpractice claims.
Each live, one-hour webinar will provide attendees with free, practical training on important legal trends and actions they can take to protect themselves and more effectively manage their practices. Gordon & Rees attorneys will provide claims professionals, in-house counsel, general counsel, and others with a convenient way to stay up to speed so they can make well-informed decisions on a day-to-day basis and avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation.
Attorneys in one of Gordon & Rees’s 32 offices nationwide will present each bimonthly webinar. The Denver office will kick-off the first webinar in the series, “Ethics and the Use of Technology in the Litigation Process – Social Media, Depositions, Jury Selection, and Witness Research,” at 11 a.m. PST on Nov. 19. Gordon & Rees’s John M. Palmeri and Heather K. Kelly will discuss how attorneys can use social media to research witnesses and prospective jury members as well as to promote themselves while maintaining their professionalism and adhering to ethics rules pertaining to communications, confidentiality, privacy, and advertising.
