On May 8, Gordon & Rees Chicago partner Thomas G. Cronin will speak at the PLUS Midwest Chapter meeting on “Hot Topics in Real Estate and Architects & Engineers E&O.”
The panel discussion, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, will address recent trends such as regulatory environments and impact on risk, commercial and residential underwriting issues, post-recession risk facing design professionals, extreme weather considerations, and energy claims and potential exposure.
Cronin focuses his practice on construction litigation defense, commercial and residential real estate, and toxic tort and product liability litigation. He defends general contractors, developers, and subcontractors against claims of personal injury, property damage, premises liability, breach of contract, and other matters. He also defends landlords and leasing and management companies of large commercial and residential buildings, and clients involved in alleged toxic waste, chemicals, and asbestos exposure matters.
