Merton Marks, Of Counsel in the Phoenix Office, will give a presentation on "Insurance and Reinsurance Bad Faith Issues in Industrial Injury and Disease Cases" at the annual meeting of the American Society of Workers' Compensation Professionals ("AmCOMP") in Las Vegas on April 17, 2015.
AmCOMP's conference, its 17th Annual Meeting, is taking place April 16-17 at the Aria Resort and Casino. The theme for this year's conference is "Meeting Tomorrow's Workers Compensation Challenges TODAY!" Bill Zachry, Safeway Insurance VP of Risk Management, will be the keynote speaker, and baseball legend Pete Rose will be a guest speaker.
AmCOMP is a national organization of insurance, reinsurance and self insurance executives, lawyers, and others involved in industrial accident and occupational disease insurance cases. Mert has served as counsel in coverage cases and insurance rate hearings, and as an arbitrator in reinsurance arbitrations.
