Gordon & Rees Philadelphia partner Catherine Slavin will speak at the American Bar Association’s 22nd Annual National Institute on Aviation Litigation on June 1, 2016 in New York.
Slavin will co-present “Defending Military Contractors Against War Zone Tort Actions.” The session will address the array of defenses available in combat-related torts claims, including the Combat Activities Defense, the Government Contractor Defense, the Political Question Doctrine and the States Secrets Privilege.
Slavin focuses her practice on aviation litigation defense, representing aircraft and aircraft component manufacturers, aircraft operators, MROs, and aviation insurers in product liability, commercial litigation, and coverage matters.
