On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, Peggy Kozal will speak to Colorado Managed Care Collaborative (CMCC) members and attendees regarding healthcare bills that were presented in the 2017 Colorado legislative session. She will cover a variety of bills that passed and other important bills that were introduced but rejected or postponed indefinitely. Her emphasis will be on legislation affecting those in the health insurance and behavioral health care spaces, including a focus on bills related to opioid abuse and other substance use disorder treatment issues.
Ms. Kozal is a member of CMCC’s Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Government Policy Committee.The breakfast event will start at 7:15 A.M. MDT at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Main Campus Conference Center.
