Phoenix partner Leon Silver will present his paper, 'On a Mission to Bring True Diversity to the Field of Law" at the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession's (IILP) symposium: "2017 Review on the State of Diversity and Inclusion" on June 6 in Chicago, Illinois. The symposium will also feature presentations by other 2017 IILP Review's authors, as well as a roundtable panel discussion about diversity and inclusion.
This symposium is one of nine that will be presented throughout the country. The IILP Review serves as the focal point for nine symposia that we are presenting around the country to allow open discussion amongst legal professionals about diversity and inclusion in person.
Each of the symposia on the state of diversity and inclusion in the legal profession features:
- Highlights of the most current data and statistics about diversity within the legal profession;
- Presentations on "diversity within diversity" and the implications for the legal profession; and,
- A discussion about the state of diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
