Philadelphia Partner Joshua Slavitt Moderates Four-Person Panel at the LES 2018 Annual Meeting

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Intellectual Property Partner Joshua Slavitt moderated a panel presentation at the LES 2018 Annual Meeting on October 15 in Boston, Massachusetts. Slavitt's four-person panel presentation was titled "Real World IP Due Diligence: Managing Risk and Avoiding Disaster in Real Time (and on Budget)." Joining Slavitt on the panel were experienced in-house counsel and attorneys Sanjay Prasad, Angela Kujak and Mitch Charness.

Slavitt's panel discussion provided insight on the factors surrounding M&A transactions and the involved IP assets. They discussed developing strategic approaches when executing due diligence reviews particularly when M&A transactions are negotiated and consummated under real-world constraints of time, money, and information. Throughout their presentation the panelists offered ways to effectively design and execute IP due diligence reviews that address the most important questions and provide the greatest value. They also shared practical and effective approaches to IP due diligence that they have learned from their own experience.
