Chicago partner Stephanie Jones will be a featured panelist in a presentation titled "Bridging the Generation Gap in the Workplace" on July 23. Jones will be joined by three speakers and a moderator of all ages who will address generational differences in the workplace and best practices for a productive and fulfilling work life regardless of the generations represented in team or practice group.
The panelists will discuss and examine workplace issues that can create frustration and conflict when they go unaddressed such as the technologies we use to communicate, the hours and spaces in which we prefer to do our work, and what we expect out of our jobs. Moderating the panel presentation is Vicki Donati, Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Crate & Barrel Holding, Inc. Co-presenting with Jones are fellow female attorneys of varying ages and levels in their careers.
The panel presentation will be held in Chicago and is hosted by the Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law which is a non-profit membership association that brings together law firms, government, and companies of all sizes. The Coalition was founded in Chicago in 2008 by a group of women lawyers intent on joining forces with others to benefit the collective whole. The Coalition provides dozens of programs each year with the goal of fostering career advancement and professional development, promoting dialogue and a support-network among members, and helping address the many issues facing women lawyers and women’s initiatives today.
