Raleigh Office Managing Partner Allison J. Becker and Senior Counsel Kendra N. Stark will present a webinar entitled "Defending Correctional Medical Lawsuits" on July 20, 2023, at 2 p.m. Eastern.
This presentation will include an overview of the legal framework of correctional medical cases and best practices for defense, including practical tips for correctional healthcare providers and their supervisors and employers to best position themselves for a successful outcome.
Ms. Becker handles matters in a variety of state, federal, and appellate courts, focusing on health care and professional liability defense. She has extensive experience defending correctional medical, dental, and mental health providers across the country against Section 1983 deliberate indifference claims.
Ms. Stark focuses her practice on professional liability matters, including the defense of healthcare providers, veterinarians, attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, directors and officers, real estate agents and brokers, and architects and engineers. She also has substantial experience defending Section 1983 deliberate indifference cases against correctional medical providers.
