Dallas Partner Saxon Guerriere to Serve as Panelist at the National Asbestos Litigation Conference

Saxon Guerriere, Partner in Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani's Dallas office, will serve as a panelist for “Understanding and Appreciating Diversity: Creating and Standing Behind a Workplace Diverse of Gender, Race and Thought,” as part of the National Asbestos Litigation Conference sponsored by Perrin Conferences to be held September 29 & 30, 2020. This virtual conference is complimentary for in-house counsel and insurance professionals.

The panel will examine diversity among lawyers, experts, the corporate board room, and beyond. The panel will explore ways to incorporate diversity and inclusion, how diversity is not just a social decision but also a good business practice and what protocols corporations put in place to identify and quantify levels of diversity (gender and race) within law firms. Panelists will discuss how decision makers in the hiring process are incorporating diversity while working with a non-diverse pool of applicants and how life experiences may impact this process as well as the need for diversity on a trial team.

Along with Guerriere, the panel will include Brenda Godfrey, Corporate Counsel, Litigation & Claims, SPX Corporation, Frederick C. Schaefer, Associate Vice President, Nationwide Indemnity, and Sharon J. Zinns, Zinns Law, LLC.

Guerriere is a partner in the Dallas office at Gordon & Rees. He is an experienced member of trial teams in complex multi-district civil litigation. He handles multiple cases for several clients in state, federal, and MDL courts across the country and is responsible for all aspects of litigation from inception through dismissal, settlement, or trial.
