Equal Access to Websites: Balancing Aesthetics and Accessibility

Technology permeates nearly every aspect of modern society. Coupled with constant cutting-edge developments, it can often be difficult to keep up. While many business owners are familiar with requirements under the American with Disabilities Act that their brick and mortar locations be accessible to persons with disabilities, they are often unaware that the ADA applies equally to their virtual locations as well. Claims related to website accessibility are increasingly common and costly. This webinar discussed important guidelines and regulations for businesses to evaluate whether their website meets the basic legal requirements for accessibility, as well as provided useful practical advice for business of all sizes moving forward.
