Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani’s New York office hosted a virtual event on behalf of the New York chapter of the Boss Talks Network on Wednesday, March 31. Mercedes Colwin, the founding partner of Gordon & Rees’ New York City office, interviewed Dr. Brooke Smith, PhD on creating habits and solutions for a more successful, balanced life. New York senior counsels Brittany Primavera and Heather Griffin also presented at the virtual event.
Brooke Smith, PhD is a business operations, productivity, and mindfulness expert. In her prior career, she managed the operational excellence program at a one billion dollar per year company and trained hundreds of people to create streamlined, customer-engaging business processes.
The Q&A focused on the misconception that systems will stifle creativity, and provided ways to ensure a supportive process. Dr. Smith also provided tips for maximizing productivity in our daily lives, both personal and professional, and discussed the importance of finding balance in today’s demanding world.
