Partner Ann Thornton Field, Senior Counsel Christina Rogers-Spang, and Senior Counsel Kristen Mazzeo obtained a complete dismissal of all claims against their client in a products liability action in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County, following the filing of a motion to dismiss.
The plaintiff was involved in a motor vehicle accident and alleged that her vehicle was equipped with airbags manufactured by their client. The Gordon & Rees team filed a motion to dismiss based upon the plaintiff’s inability to assert personal or general jurisdiction over their client and argued that the statute of limitations on all causes of action as to their client had passed. The Court agreed and granted the motion to dismiss in its entirety as to all claims.
