GRSM Welcomes Michael Mehall as Environmental & Toxic Tort Partner in Walnut Creek Office

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only full-service law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Michael Mehall as a Partner in the firm's Walnut Creek office, strengthening the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group.

Previously, Mehall focused his practice on defending manufacturers against products liability and other major liability claims, handling all aspects of complex products litigation including discovery, motion practice, trial, and alternative dispute resolution. His expertise includes working closely with mechanical engineers, accident re-constructionists, biomechanics, and other technical experts across various industries such as vehicles, elevators, electrical equipment, chemicals, home appliances, and agricultural equipment.

Mehall's seasoned expertise in law and motion practice and adept deposition skills have facilitated successful dispute resolutions, including motions for summary judgment resulting in dismissals or settlements, showcasing his strategic acumen and dedication to favorable outcomes.

Prior to joining GRSM, he served the Idaho Administrative Office of the Courts as the Court Operations Legal Analyst in the Court Management Division. In this capacity, he was responsible for providing leadership and services in court processes and operations. He also performed analysis and education regarding legislation and regulation and its impact on the courts and justice partners.

Mehall is admitted to practice in Idaho, California, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, his master's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
