Gordon & Rees Welcomes Partner Lisa R. Crowley to Employment Law Practice Group

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Lisa R. Crowley as a partner in the firm's San Diego office. She will practice in the Employment Law practice group.

Ms. Crowley's practice focuses on defending companies and individuals in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violation claims. She also has extensive complex commercial litigation experience, including securities fraud, antitrust, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and intellectual property litigation. She has handled individual, class, and derivative actions, litigated in numerous federal and state courts, and represented a range of clients from individual entrepreneurs to Fortune 100 companies.

In addition, Ms. Crowley has years of in-house experience where she provided legal counsel to a financial services corporation, an internet start-up, and an importer and distributor of highly regulated chemicals. In these positions, she managed litigation, handled regulatory and employment matters, and developed a reputation for providing practical, strategic advice designed to drive business objectives. She was also responsible for legal budgets, cost containment, and resource allocation.

"Lisa is a seasoned attorney with experience both in-house and at large firms," said Brandon Saxon, Assistant Chair of the firm's National Employment Group. "She brings a unique perspective to litigation, and her knowledge, skill set, and understanding of nuances in the practice make her a fierce and effective advocate for her clients. We are fortunate to have her joining the Gordon & Rees team."

Ms. Crowley earned her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she served as Articles Editor of the Stanford Law Review, and her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is admitted to practice in Utah and California.
