Chicago partner Kelly Milam, who serves as co-chair of the Gordon & Rees Trucking and Transportation’s practice group, presented at the Trucking Industry Defense Association’s (“TIDA”) Advanced Skills Seminar on March 31 and April 1, 2022 in Tempe, Arizona. Chicago associate Richard Daniels and Detroit associate Aaron Boey also attended the conference.
Milam, who was a primary organizer of the Tempe event, presented on multiple topics, including: Expert Witnesses, DOT/FMCSA Regulation & Compliance, Agency/Brokerage – 50 State Analysis, and Attorney-Client Relations in the Trucking Industry.
The conference was well attended by attorneys and claims adjusters for the industry’s most prominent trucking and insurance companies. TIDA is comprised of professionals in the trucking industry and serves as a vessel for sharing updates in the industry, defense strategies, referrals, and networking.
