Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Oakland Partner Mike Laurenson will serve on the faculty of a program entitled “Trial by Jury,” for the Bar Association of San Francisco on Tuesday, April 25 12:30—4:30 Pacific. Presented by the Arbitration Section this MCLE opportunity is an in-person event designed for junior lawyers seeking trial experience, as well as seasoned courtroom advocates.
Laurenson and four of the Bay Area’s most accomplished trial lawyers will provide instruction (and show by example) on:
- Jury selection
- Opening statement
- Direct and cross examination
- Closing argument
Laurenson is the leader of Gordon & Rees' Northern California Trial Practice Group and a member of the firm’s National Trial Practice Group. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”). He was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 75 Labor & Employment attorneys in California. The Daily Journal also selected unanimous defense verdicts that he received in 2014 and 2015 as Top 10 Defense Verdicts in California for those years.
