Seattle Partner Sarah Turner will be presenting for the National Business Institute's ("NBI") live webinar entitled "How to Bring Oregon Employee Handbooks Into Compliance" to be held on March 23, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Pacific.
In her sessions, Ms. Turner will cover what to include in wage and hour provisions, how to bring leave and PTO policies up to speed, how to update discrimination, harassment, and retaliation policies, and how to create and update alcohol, drug, and marijuana policies.
Ms. Turner is a Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Seattle office and a member of the Employment and Cannabis practice groups. She litigates in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Her practice also includes counseling, training, and representing clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including hiring, review, and termination procedures, workplace investigations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour law.
