Sacramento Senior Counsel Annette L. Rose Named Among Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40

Sacramento Senior Counsel Annette L. Rose has been named by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association among the nation's 2023 "40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40." She is recognized for her accomplishments in her field and for her work to promote diversity, equity and inclusion ("DEI") within the legal profession and beyond.

Ms. Rose is a member of the Employment Law practice group. Ms. Rose routinely litigates complex class actions and defends against claims of discrimination, retaliation and harassment. As part of her daily practice, she advocates for more robust DEI policies and practices into her clients' operations. At Gordon & Rees, she currently serves as a member of the Diversity Committee and the LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, whose mission is to recruit, include, mentor, promote and retain members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Beyond her work at Gordon & Rees, Ms. Rose was recognized for her contributions to her local LGBTQ+ community. Ms. Rose is currently a Board Member with Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association and focuses her efforts on mentoring Lambda law students, providing access to legal services to the local LGBTQ+ community and raising awareness anti-LGBTQ+ laws and statutes.

Sponsored annually by the LGBTQ+ Bar, the Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 Award recognizes 40 LGBTQ+ legal professionals under 40 years old who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. Awardees will be recognized at the LGBTQ+ Bar's 2023 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair in Chicago, Illinois, July 24-26, 2023.
