Partner Sarah Turner Quoted in Law Review Article Authored by EEOC Commissioner

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Partner, Sarah Turner, was quoted in a law review article authored by Commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC"), Honorable Keith E. Sonderling, and his chief counsel, Bradford J. Kelly.

The article, "The Sword and the Shield: The Benefits of Opinion Letters by Employment and Labor Agencies" was published by the Missouri University School of Law and shares the benefits of opinion letters and the potential impact on employers and workers. The first citation is to an article Turner wrote in 2018 on six opinion letters authored by the Department of Labor.

Turner is a partner with the Employment and Cannabis practice groups in the Seattle and Portland offices. She litigates in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Her employment and labor practice focuses on employers and includes a hybrid of counseling and litigation. She is an experienced litigator who has represented and defended employers in matters involving claims for wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, privacy, defamation, ADA, leave and benefits, breach of contract, violation of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and wage and hour.
