A. Victor Rawl, Jr. Elected as State Delegate to ABA House of Delegates

Partner A. Victor Rawl, Jr. has been elected as the State Delegate for Nebraska to the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. In this leadership role, Rawl will represent all Nebraska lawyers who are members of the American Bar Association. He will also serve on the Nominating Committee to nominate officers and members of the Board of Governors. Rawl will serve a three-year term from 2020-2023.

Rawl serves as the Managing Partner of Gordon & Rees’ Nebraska and South Carolina offices. He is a litigator with broad experience in numerous areas of complex litigation in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. Rawl has a recognized reputation for his defense of large national builders, product manufacturers, hospitals, and other health care entities. Rawl has been highly rated by his peers and is Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated "AV Preeminent" in Litigation, Construction Law, Health Law and Class Actions, is recognized as a Super Lawyer, and is also listed in Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation and Construction Law.

The American Bar Association (ABA) is the nation’s largest professional organization of lawyers with more than 350,000 members. The control and administration of the ABA is vested in the House of Delegates, the policy-making body of the association. The House of Delegates meets twice each year, at the ABA Annual and Midyear Meetings. At the Midyear Meeting, the Nominating Committee meets to nominate ABA officers and members to the ABA Board of Governors.
