Britanny Jocius

Associate

Britanny Jocius is an Associate attorney in the GRSM Chicago office who focuses her practice on defending clients in Commercial Litigation and Employment Law. Prior to joining the firm, Britanny gained experience in insurance defense, general commercial litigation, appellate work, and toxic tort litigation while working for a civil defense law firm based in the Midwest. 

Britanny completed her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. She received her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2021. While in law school, Britanny participated in Appellate Moot Court where she won top awards at three national competitions. She also externed with Judge Franklin U. Valderrama in the Northern District of Illinois and Judge James McGing in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division.

  • Obtained complete verdict on behalf of hotel chain in a forcible detainer action resulting in immediate possession for the client.
