- Obtained complete, pre-trial dismissal of $50,000,000 fraud, negligent misrepresentation, civil conspiracy, and aiding and abetting claims related to the sale of COVID-19 diagnostic tests brought in Harris County, Texas District Court on the ground that the claims were baseless as a matter of law.
- In the Circuit Court for Clay County, Missouri, successfully opposed motion for class certification in putative class action seeking multi-million-dollar damages for violation of housing and consumer protection laws.
- Prevailed on Rule 12(b)(6) motion to dismiss breach of contract claims for alleged wrongful termination of a franchise agreement. Robinson v. JTH Tax LLC d/b/a Liberty Tax Serv., No. 2:21-cv-00066-AWA-DEM (E.D. Va. Aug. 26, 2022).
- Compelled putative class action claims filed in the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia to mandatory, individual arbitration. Rader v. Northwest Federal Credit Union, No. 24-1185, 2024 WL 3963686 (E.D. Va. May 2, 2024).
- In a four-day jury trial involving claims for medical battery, negligence, and violation of the Virginia Health Care Decisions Act, obtained summary judgment after successfully moving the Arlington County Circuit Court to strike the plaintiff’s evidence.
- Defeated motion for preliminary injunctive relief, which sought specific performance of a non-renewed franchise agreement, in Virginia Beach Circuit Court and on petition for an appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court.
- Received complete defense verdict in Fairfax County bench trial involving consumer claims for breach of contract and breach of express warranty.
- Successfully moved pre-trial to dismiss defamation claim brought in Fairfax County Circuit Court.
- Secured $276,455.00 judgment on breach of contract, fraud, and Virginia Consumer Protection Act claims in Fairfax County Circuit Court.
- Obtained dismissal of claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964, and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 for failure to state a claim upon which relief could be granted.
