Chris Hoffmann’s practice primarily focuses on insurance coverage, complex commercial litigation, and cyber security and data privacy matters. His creative and tactful approach allows him to develop strategic solutions that help achieve favorable results for his clients. He is committed to providing exceptional service, ensuring that his clients receive responsive, thoughtful, and effective legal representation.

Prior to joining GRSM, Chris worked at a boutique Chicago-based commercial litigation and insurance coverage firm where he represented multimillion dollar companies, small businesses, and private individuals in complex contractual and insurance coverage disputes.

Chris earned his J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County before he entered private practice. During law school, Chris was awarded a CALI award for academic excellence, had an article published in the American Bar Association’s Cyberspace Law Committee Newsletter, and served as the President of Chicago-Kent’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys exploring Chicago, watching the Bears, and performing as the lead singer of a local rock band.
