David Ries has healthcare experience on behalf of providers and payers and benefits administrators. He was general advice counsel to San Francisco’s health and human services agencies, including during the City’s COVID-response. On behalf of insurers, he has contracted with, credentialed and audited general and specialty hospitals, medical groups, nursing facilities, behavioral health programs, and nontraditional healthcare providers. David’s litigation practice has included elder abuse, compliance, reimbursement, HIPAA, licensing hearings, benefits eligibility and medical necessity determinations.
