During law school, Devin interned with prominent organizations such as Verizon, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Cranfill Sumner, and a small plaintiff’s firm.

Before pursuing law, Devin served in the U.S. Army from 2008 to 2022, where he gained extensive leadership and high-pressure decision-making experience. As a combat medic, he earned the Soldier of the Year award twice, and later as a warrant officer, he served as an Apache helicopter pilot. His service included a combat deployment to Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Air Medal and an Army Achievement Medal. Devin’s military background has helped shape his approach to legal practice, where he draws on his skills in effective communication, critical thinking, and working in high-stress environments.
