Eric R. Thompson is a Partner in the Miami and Tampa offices of GRSM. He has extensive experience with tort, professional liability, drug & medical device, and product liability cases with a particular focus in asbestos and commercial cases. He regularly defends insurance agents, brokers, and other professionals in malpractice claims. In addition, Eric regularly defends employees and employers involving claims for anti-competition, retaliation, discrimination, and harassment. He has defended many individuals and companies in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) cases, including hybrid claims under federal and state law.

Prior to GRSM, he worked for two esteemed boutique litigation firms in Miami, handling myriad commercial cases as well as various products and premises liability matters. He received his B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
