Eric S. Wyant II

Senior Counsel

Eric S. Wyant II’s practice involves representing clients in complex commercial disputes and appeals across a diverse range of industries and sectors. Eric has represented clients in cases filed in jurisdictions throughout the United States and the American Arbitration Association.

He has advised and advocated for a broad array of clients, including both publicly traded and privately held companies, as well as individuals, in the construction, energy, financial, health care, real estate, and telecommunications industries. Through both prosecuting and defending actions on behalf of clients, Eric has experience handling all facets of litigation. In doing so, he provides practical guidance to minimize the inconveniences of litigation.

Eric earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, and Master of Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University. He then graduated from Duquesne University School of Law where he was awarded membership into the Order of the Barristers and received a Shalom Moot Court Award. During law school, he was a member of the nationally ranked Appellate Moot Court Board, the Executive Editor of the Energy & Environmental Law Journal, the Student Articles Editor of the Business Law Journal, and he served as an extern to the Honorable Justice Christine Donohue of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

  • Representation of national provider of short-term post-acute, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care services involving complex commercial disputes.
  • Representation of a national title insurance carrier in a variety of title defense matters including survey issues, title disputes, and lien priority.
  • Representation of textile company regarding contract dispute.
  • Assisted in successfully defending a midstream company against multiple landowners seeking a preliminary injunction to enjoin operations related to construction of a pipeline. Saul, et al. v. Pure Bred Holdings, LLC, et al., No. 248 AD 2022 (C.C.P. Greene Sept. 24, 2024).
  • Assisted in obtaining favorable six-figure verdict on behalf of natural gas company following a bench trial on claims governed by Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Myers Water Transfer, LLC v. LOLA Energy Petroco, LLC, et al, 2021-5513 (C.C.P. Washington Sept. 11, 2024).
  • Assisted in obtaining summary judgment and award of attorneys’ fees on behalf of provider of wireless infrastructure. STC Two, LLC v. Branham, 2:23-cv-00764 (S.D. Ohio 2024).
  • Obtained dismissal on behalf of provider of wireless infrastructure in case involving a commercial lease. Gruhot v. Crown Castle International Corp., 42-CV-23-354 (Lyon Cnty., Minn. Dist. Ct. June 29, 2023).
  • Obtained dismissal on behalf of automobile finance and repossession companies. Eggers v. International Recovery Systems, Inc., et al., 2:22-cv-00924 (W.D. Pa. 2023).
  • Assisted in obtaining six-figure verdict following partial summary judgment and bench trial on claims governed by Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Lehigh Cement Company LLC v. Virina Steel, LLC, G.D. 18-18174 (C.C.P. Berks December 18, 2023).
  • Assisted in obtaining quashal of appeal on behalf of energy company. Cavallo Min. Partners, LLC v. EQT Prod. Co., 298 A.3d 413 (Pa. Super. 2023).
  • Assisted in obtaining favorable resolution of complex commercial lease issue for publicly traded provider of wireless infrastructure. T-Mobile West Tower LLC et al. v. Academy Medical Office LLC, 1:22-CV-00910 (D.N.M 2023).
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of licensed real estate professionals in Pennsylvania state court in a case involving allegations of fraud in a real estate transaction. Folmer, et al. v. Lucas, et al., No. 2020-3405 (C.C.P. Mercer Aug. 3, 2022).
