Erin Brown is Senior Counsel in the Chicago office of GRSM.  Her practice focuses primarily on business and real estate transactions.  Erin has experience advising small and mid-sized business owners on a variety of corporate matters from entity formation and corporate governance to merger and acquisition transactions. 

Prior to joining GRSM, Erin was an associate at a Chicago-based boutique law firm specializing in commercial litigation and real estate transactions.  She started her legal career on the litigation team where she gained valuable experience in the state court systems and honed her legal research and writing skills.  She also gained extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of real estate matters including residential and commercial acquisitions and sales, 1031 exchanges, and leasing transactions. 

Erin attended DePaul University College of Law where she served as the Managing Business Editor of the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal.  She was also the recipient of CALI awards in Transactional Legal Drafting and Legal Analysis Research and Communication.
