Glenn B. Coffin is a Partner in the Environmental & Toxic Tort practice group of GRSM's Hartford office and has practiced in the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2005 and the State of Connecticut since 2007. Glenn concentrates his practice on the defense of a variety of entities and clients in the complex litigation setting including the manufacturers of products in toxic tort, products liability and asbestos litigation. He is actively involved in both the Bridgeport and New London Connecticut Asbestos dockets and is frequent lead examining counsel in depositions of plaintiffs and witnesses in Connecticut asbestos cases. Additionally, Glenn has experience in the defense of complex personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, fire/explosion loss and property damage claims, municipal litigation, construction litigation, commercial general liability defense, legal malpractice defense, premises and automobile liability defense.

In addition to his defense practice, Glenn has represented private clients in personal injury actions in Massachusetts and Connecticut state courts, has appeared on behalf of claimants seeking redress for workplace injuries before the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission and has worked to obtain Social Security Disability benefits for disabled claimants in Federal administrative courts throughout the nation. He has also represented insurers in subrogation actions arising out of catastrophic accidents. Glenn has also worked closely with municipal Fire and EMS departments and organizations as an adviser concerning employment and membership disputes, medical legal training and instruction as well as the development of by-laws, policies, procedures and best practices.
