Joseph Bellew is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience handling complex products liability and professional negligence matters. He has litigated the validity and coverage issues involved in the legislative and statutory provisions applicable to medical negligence claims, coverage and priority of claims.

Joseph also defends manufacturers, distributors and component part manufacturers in matters involving industrial machinery, fire safety/life safety equipment, medical device equipment and asbestos claims. He represents medical professionals, nursing homes, visiting nursing associations, home health care workers and diagnostic centers in all types of professional negligence claims.

Representative Experience

  • Represented an apartment complex owner and management company accused of consumer fraud by the Attorney General’s Office in regards to the leasing of apartments.
  • Represented major food manufacturer/distributor concerning claims of injuries suffered as a result of consumption of adulterated foods.
  • Represented major insurance carriers in third party claims for coverage involving claims for construction defects.
  • Represented a trustee for RICO violations in regards to the administration of a trust.
  • Represented various construction companies in regards to disputes arising out of projects resulting in the filing and discharging of mechanics liens.
