Katie M. Galasso is a Partner in the Pittsburgh office of GRSM and is a member of the Healthcare and Professional Liability Defense practice groups. She concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of health law business, medical malpractice defense litigation, and the development and management of captive insurance companies and other self-insurance arrangements. She has represented a wide array of healthcare providers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including nationally-recognized hospitals and community hospitals, as well as nursing homes, physicians, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, and technicians. She has handled various medical malpractice trials, arbitrations, and mediations in Pennsylvania and West Virginia State and Federal court matters.
