Lucas J. Bowerman is an Associate in the Minneapolis office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Insurance practice groups. 

Lucas received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. He received Dean’s List Honors every semester of law school and received the CALI Award in Legal Writing II and III, an award given to students with the highest grade in the class. Lucas served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola University Chicago Journal of Regulatory Compliance and served as a staff member of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. He received the Leadership, Service, and Public Interest award in 2024 from Loyola University Chicago. In addition, Lucas tutored fellow law students in Contracts and Civil Procedure his 2L year. 

In law school, Lucas worked in a variety of legal practices, including insurance defense, criminal appeals, health care compliance and transactional work, and as a Judicial Extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. 

Lucas is an adventure and travel enthusiast and avid sports fan. Prior to law school, Lucas worked in a variety of clinical and research labs at the University of Minnesota.
