Healthcare and commercial litigation attorney Marla Fontana has extensive litigation experience in complex-personal injury related matters. Marla takes a creative and thoughtful approach to her practice to help garner successful results.

Prior to joining GRSM, Marla was an associate at a prominent Chicago-based plaintiff’s firm where she handled a wide range of matters. She played a pivotal role in high-profile case against a local university brought by dozens of former athletes who alleged hazing within the school’s football program.

Marla earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. While in law school, Marla was a member of DePaul’s Moot Court Team and received the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Legal Drafting – Civil Litigation. She also served as the Secretary of DePaul’s chapter of the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
