Nosizi Ralephata is a Partner in the Charleston office of GRSM. She has a varied litigation background that spans several practice areas including labor and employment, asbestos, toxic tort matters, restrictive covenants/non-competes, design professionals, complex personal injury, A&E, general liability, construction, premises liability, SIU, bodily injury defense, hospitality and retail defense, automobile liability, first party property and coverage, professional liability, directors and officers, personal and advertising injury, coverage opinions, bad faith/extra contractual liability, commercial liability, and business/contract disputes, and employment law.

Nosizi’s cases typically require resolution through extensive motions’ practice, mediation and settlement, when appropriate. She has been involved in multiple appellate decisions. Further, she has provided representation related to government investigations and enforcement matters.

Nosizi studied law at the University of East London in England before migrating to the United States where she has been a resident of South Carolina since 1999. After graduating from law school in South Carolina, she briefly served as an adjunct faculty member teaching a transnational dispute resolution class in London. She completed a fellowship with the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee and has participated multiple leadership training programs in South Carolina and nationwide. She has received numerous leadership awards and is AV-rated. She devotes a substantial amount of time giving back to the community and volunteers as a Junior Achievement teacher.
