Tatiana Dupuy is a Partner in the San Diego office and a member of the Employment, Commercial and Business Litigation, and Environmental & Toxic Tort practice groups.

Her practice focuses on employment law, including Wage and Hour claims and FEHA claims. She represents employers in administrative and civil claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and alleged wage and hour violations.  She also provides internal investigations and counseling to employer clients regarding best practices and compliance with the goal of advising her clients on how best to avoid litigation. She also handles complex business litigation and commercial matters dealing with fraud-based claims, contract-based disputes, products liability claims, unfair competition claims, breach of non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.

Tatiana's language abilities and background give her a unique understanding of the workplace dynamics and challenges where employees and witnesses are only comfortable communicating in Spanish.  With a multidisciplinary skillset, Tatiana provides counsel to businesses regarding employment-related issues and compliance with California employment laws. The advice and counsel aspect of her practice assists employers in developing workplace policies and employee handbooks.  She has handled employment cases from their inception to trial preparation. Tatiana’s knowledge in discovery, motion practice and trial preparation is vast and highly experienced. She has second-chaired two trials one in Los Angeles Superior Court and one in federal court.

Additionally, Tatiana has experience litigating toxic tort claims, environmental claims, and specialized professional liability claims. Tatiana has litigated professional liability disputes such as the defense of accountants, architects, and insurance brokers. She has represented a wide range of entities in her practice including corporations, medical practices, insurance companies, homeowners’ associations, construction companies, small businesses, and environmental abatement companies. Additionally, Tatiana has significant experience representing and advising hospitality clients.

Tatiana is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Community Involvement

  • Ms. Dupuy is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Voices for Children, a foundation which supports and assists foster children to ensure they have safe and permanent homes. She also volunteers for the Gina Eisenman Foundation, an organization devoted to the eradication of domestic violence.
  • Tatiana is a mediator in the Resolve Law Los Angeles Superior Court Program for noncomplex employment matters since 2024.
