Alanna C. Mecca is an Associate in the Westchester office of GRSM. She is a member of the Product & General Liability, Insurance, and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Alanna obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2022, attaining a certificate in Environmental Law. During her tenure at law school, Alanna held a student attorney position at the Pace Environmental Law Clinic. In this role, she supported environmental organizations through drafting legal documents and conducting comprehensive legal research. Her contributions encompassed projects pertaining to the NYS 303(d) List of Impaired/TMDL Waters and Water Quality Criteria.
In addition to her legal studies, Alanna interned with the New York Department of State Utility Intervention Unit during the COVID-19 pandemic and was involved in the Pace Law Advocacy Department, where she was a finalist in the Louis Fasulo moot court competition before continuing to compete in mock trial advocacy competitions at Hofstra University and the University of Mississippi. Alanna remains involved in the Pace Law Advocacy Department, connecting with students looking to better their future careers through developing their skills as an outstanding advocate.
